Purpose
Arboriculture courses prepare students to care for and manage individual trees and urban forests. MGCC instructors strive to promote the benefits of well-maintained trees - Aesthetic, economic, environmental, and society.
Program Description
The Arboriculture Career Studies Certificate trains individuals to work in a distinct segment of the forestry industry.
Employment Outlook
There is a need for trained technicians who are skilled in plant health care and best practices.
*There is a prerequisite of 75% completion toward the AAS in Forest Mgt. Technology to enroll in the Arboriculture CSC.
