Accreditation
The Mountain Gateway Technical Education Center (MG-TEC) is a College Partnership Laboratory School established pursuant to Chapter 19.1 of Title 22.1 of the Code of Virginia. Under its contract with the Virginia Board of Education, MG-TEC is required to comply with all applicable Board of Education policies, procedures, and regulations. MG-TEC has not requested or received any waiver or release from state regulations.
MG-TEC is subject to applicable Standards of Quality, Standards of Learning, Standards of Accreditation, teacher licensure requirements, student protections, accountability requirements, and other regulations governing public elementary and secondary education in Virginia.
