The State Board for Virginia’s Community Colleges has voted to set tuition and mandatory educational and general fees for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year, beginning with the Fall 2026 semester.

Mountain Gateway Community College experienced a nearly 8% increase in student enrollment for the Fall of 2025 compared to the previous academic year.

Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) will host a series of Summer Enrollment Events at the new Joe Wilson Workforce Center in Buena Vista, located at 2019 Forest Avenue, to help new students get started on the path to career training and higher education.
