Page Michaela Terry of Botetourt County was selected to serve as student speaker during the annual Commencement Exercises at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, held Friday night on the Clifton Forge campus. Terry earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences Degree in General Studies, as well as the General Education Certificate from DSLCC.

Covington’s Temple Baptist Church Selected for Chancellor's Philanthropy Award

Richmond – Temple Baptist Church, of Covington, Virginia, through the Estate of Ovella Worsham, has received the 13th Annual Chancellor’s Award for Leadership in Philanthropy. The church was nominated for the award by Dabney S. Lancaster Community College.

DSLCC Educational Foundation Event Raises $30,000 for Scholarships

“Bubbles, Bands and Brunch”, the fund-raising gala hosted by the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Educational Foundation, raised approximately $30,000 for scholarships and entertained 200 local supporters with the theme of “Passport to Paris” on Sunday, September 10. The much-anticipated affair is held every other year on the DSLCC main campus in Clifton Forge.

2017 DSLCC Alumni Award

Steven Leitch of Leesburg, a native of Clifton Forge and a 1989 graduate of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, was  honored as the first recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award during the 50th annual DSLCC commencement exercises held May 12 on the Clifton Forge campus.

DSLCC Student Katie Boggs Selected for Prestigious Award

Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is pleased to announce that Katie Boggs of Covington has been selected as part of the sixth class of the Valley Proteins Fellows Program, administered by the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education. Boggs, a full-time student at DSLCC, is one of only nine individuals statewide selected for the prestigious award.
